With increased growth and continued expansion within the company, Glasslines now have an opportunity in their team for a Glass Tempering Furnace Operator to generate high-quality products. To the right candidate, full training will be provided.
On a day to day basis, you will be required to:
- Load and unload the tempering machine.
- Inspect the quality and make necessary changes to the machine parameters
- Change furnace recipes and improve glass quality
- Programme the machine and use manual equipment when necessary to load the machine
- Plan and prioritise the workload according to the production schedule.
Key to your success in this role will be your ability to problem solve and communicate clearly to the team regarding workflows and priority orders. You will have an eye for detail and strong quality focus. In addition, you will have an uncompromising focus on health and safety and be physically able to lift product. It is envisaged that you will have come from a manufacturing background and be looking for a role where you can grow your expertise.
